There was a thread about space themed songs a while ago. But I’m interested about songs especially about our planets (and I include Pluto, I’m old fashioned that way). So here’s what I got: Mercury: Ok, I start by cheating. As **Walken** ’s cite points out, there have been “PLuto” additions to Holst’s Planet’s suite, including one by Leonard Bernstein. Christine Lavin has been a big supporter of Pluto, ever since it was downgraded to a planetoid. She went as far as to sell booklets about it on her website. Uranus: The movie “Journey to the Seventh Planet” (1962) has an outro song in some versions. In others, it’s just an instrumental, but in some it has words. But the title of it is “Journey to the Seventh Planet.” ---
