When I do a search for posts or threads by myself, I see not only my ID, **Quartz** , but also another id, **Quartz.** , with an extra full stop at the end. I’ve tried searching and **Quartz.** does not appear to have made any posts. I’m slightly bemused. ---

Yes, there was a “Quartz.” 0 posts. Obviously not you unless that name is a signpost to the SDMB version of the Star Trek mirror universe. Have you suddenly grown a goatee or found yourself brandishing a sword? ---

Funnily enough, I do own a few swords. As for the goatee… hmmm… I think the overbite and buck teeth would mar the effect. 🙂 I guess it’s an oddity with which we’ll have to live. ---
