# Are there websites that document and properly explain UFO sightings?

I’d like to see what some of the more interesting and long-term inexplicable UFO sightings have since been determined as being. I know there are lots of kooky websites that don’t help anybody, and I know there are a lot of skpetic scoffing sites that don’t go into really interesting detail or real evidence.
I’m kind of thinking like “Disc shaped UFOs are usually one of three things - planets or stars, weather balloons, or cloud formations. Here are examples of each sighting and the subsequent explanation, with photographs.” etc etc
Anybody know of any?

I don’t know of any one that tries to do a comprehensive study, but try the UFO links on the CSICOP page at [www.csicop.com](http://www.csicop.com) Aklso look at the UFO page on CSICOP Fellow Robert Shaeffer’s page: [http://www.debunker.com/ufo.html](http://www.debunker.com/ufo.html)
For info on particular cases, but not on the web, look at the books by Shaeffer 9 **The UFO Verdict** and others) and fellow CSICOP member Philip Klass ( **UFOs Identified, UFOs Explained, UFO Abductions: A Dangerous Game** and others), Older books by Donald Menzel (director of the Harvard-Smithsonian Observatory back in the 1950s and 60s, and author of at least three books debunking UFOs),and various offering from Prometheus Press (several books on Roswell).
