# Are there websites that index discussion boards?

I know about Yahoo and Google Groups (which is actually a usenet portal isn’'t it). I’m looking for someplace that will list all (or most) discussion boards by topic. Thus, if I have a hard to get answered question such as trailer parks/campgrounds in Hawaii, or what type of boat is best for the open seas I could find a discussion board dealing with Hawaii or one dealing in ocean faring vessels. Does something like this exist?

Well [BoardReader](http://www.boardreader.com/) is a search engine like Google that will produce results from Message Boards only. By searching for “hawaii campgrounds” I found a [Hawaii General](http://b17.ezboard.com/fforum42frm23.showMessage?topicID=39.topic) board as the first result.

Thanks, Bob your search engine led me to my Holy Grail of message board sites [http://www.vbulletin.com/links.php](http://www.vbulletin.com/links.php) It was a Google search for new vbulletin sites that led me here in the first place! Now I have an index to **every** board that they host and it’s a link that I wouldn’t have except for your efforts (Google fell short for me in this case).

it’s not **every** board. Board owners have to submit their own.
