# Are these nice places? (NY Post lists 12 “most affordable” US beach towns)

Yeah, i know people who are migratory (“snow birds”) who live in Florida or CA over the winter, and MA or NY or IL in the summer. And I’ve known people who had a vacation home closer to home that they went to every weekend in the summer. Those are both common patterns.
