# Are These Still Made (Single Slide viewers)?

I ask because i just unearthed one…these were a plastic tube, with a lense at one end, and a translucent cap at the other end-inside was a color slide. You held it up to the light, and viewed the picture.  
these used to be sold everywhere-tourist shops, bookstores, etc.  
I haven’t seen them in years-what ahppened to them?

The Vermont Country Store type is a little different from the kind **ralph124c** described – his kind did not require batteries, bt used an external light source. I’ve got one of those somewhere.
