I’m in. This will totally help me at work. Some people in my office do a Secret Santa, but with 5 days of gifts. I work in an office with (honest description available on request) too many people who get into the Secret Santa. It’s 5-10 emails a day about it from Thanksgiving to Christmas. One of my secretaries harshes me every year about not participating. NOW, I can say, “No, thanks, I’m already doing a Secret Santa thingie.” Whistlepig, who since the age of 14 has wanted nothing more for Christmas than to be a Jewish orphan. Unless I get to spend Christmas with my godkids. ---

As a general rule, IIRC, it’s frowned upon and quickly covered if someone posts their address, but sending/emailing it to someone is your right. I ran two moderately successful rounds of a white elephant exchange with not one peep from the Administration, both fairly high profile (IMO) and both involving a large number of Dopers (59 & 103, all told.) The people that wanted in emailed thier info to me, I sent it _only_ to the person who was [sub]almost entirely[/sub] randomly selected to send them stuff. Based on this, and the fact that we had a great Secret Santa last year, I’m guessing that trading info, off the Board, is fine and dandy. Or I could be wrong. ---
