Freedom of speech takes another hit , i.e. New York fine for Calling someone an illegal alien.

I don’t think this would really fit in the mini-rants thread. That’s more about smaller things that affect the poster directly. Something that involves freedom of speech would probably warrant a full thread.

I for one would be happy to see a freedom of speech topic about the government action instead of the more nebulous moral concept.
