We live alone (no children at home). We just don’t bother getting dressed unless we’re going out. We live about 1/4 mile from the road, so we don’t get people who come by and knock on the doors, and we refuse to associate with our neighbors (if you ever met them, you’d understand). So, We get up in the morning, shower, towel off and then do whatever it is we do around the house _au naturale_. One of the fringe benefits is that we don’t have as much laundry to do. Is this odd, or is this common for people who live alone? C’mon Dopers, sound off!! ---

I live alone and strip as soon as I get in the door. Well, to boxers. I hate clothes, especially shoes. ---

Hubby is especially fond of lounging au naturale as well. Although somehow it never seems to make a dent in the laundry. Hrmm… ---

I am naked now! well, a few minutes ago. My boss made me get dressed. seriously, My kids are away on vacation in a far off distant land. I walk around naked in the house, my wife in her undies. Its been really hot these past few days. Lotsa showers. ---

When I lived alone it was naked time all the time. Now that my son lives with me I only wear a pair of boxers or something unless we have planes to go somewhere. He does the same thing. Clothes are so overrated. ---

I live alone five days a week (Hubby is a trucker). I do keep a robe by the front door in case someone knocks. Otherwise naked and free. ---

When kid-less, I usually go about my business at home in panties. I keep a robe or chemise handy in case I have to go outside (mail, paper, laundry). In coldest CA winter, I wear socks and a sweatshirt---- **Drachillix** ’s hit me mid thigh. ---

It’s pretty obvious that none of the prior posters have been thru a Minnesota winter in a 100-year old house! Otherwise there’d be less “letting it all hang out” and more “letting it all thaw out”. 🙂 And looking at their locations confirms that. ---

No, I don’t go nekkid. I do wear nighties all day, though. Some of them are strange, tattered things. Oh yeah, and fuzzy slippers. I have a pair of fuzzy slippers which I wear constantly. (I’d go barefoot but then I run the risk of stepping in some as yet undetected deposit of cat barf.) ---

I’m naked all the time. I don’t even bother with a robe in case someone knocks—I just ignore them until they go away. They’re usuall kids selling crap or missionaries anyway…hmmm…maybe I should just answer the door. 😉 ---
