jackie lee, I’ve been known to say I’m a practicing Christian, and if I practice it long enough, I may even get it right some day!
I am a liberal Christian who’s frequently firmly on the opposite side of debates from His4Ever and Jersey Diamond (Hello to both of you, by the way), but not only do I have a personal relationship with Christ, I swear He’s been known to interfere in my love life! I am a Christian not because I attend such-and-such Episcopal Church or say certain words or do certain things, but because I have accepted Him as my Saviour and I try to follow His commandments. I fall short most days. I’m human. Still, I pick myself up and keep trying.
When I was a teenager, I desperately wanted two things: acceptance and longing. Twenty years later, looking around at my life, I’m surprised to find out I’ve acquired both. While Diogenes and I may differ, I credit Christianity with that.
By the way, while I’m saying hello to people, Dreamer, it’s a pleasure to see your name again.
So you think your not a christian!
And yet you have just confessed your sins.
You also say you are a believer , aren’t these the things that makes one a christian?
