Time for a quick summary: CP: Genes drive outcome differences among self identified race groups; a conclusion supported by the fact that the average gene pools are disparate, migration points in human history have given time for genes to evolve, and highly privileged black children score barely on par with underprivileged white children. iiandyii: Centuries of ancestral oppression is among the best explanations for outcome differences among self identified race groups even if the parents of privileged black children have themselves succeeded. Plus lack of motivation. Plus some other things; possibly thousands of unstudied things. Perhaps more. Not genes, though. Evil Economist: It isn’t genes, but if it is centuries of oppression or thousands of other things, the good news is that one M&M per test answer will adequately motivate black children such that group-based differences are nearly effaced. CP: I propose, then, to tape a motivational M&M next to each question on tests handed to black children. If it turns out older black test-takers need a full Snickers bar, then fine. Perhaps a Mounds bar (which comes in pairs) can be split to motivate two test takers in the adolescent group. Idiots. It’s your turn. I can’t take this anymore, and I’m outta here to go lick my wounds, wipe off the spittle you dumbasses have slobbered on me, and press the fight for race-based AA preferences. 🙂 I’m pretty immune to insults, but do yourself a favor and try not to kill off race-based preferences for AA. Most of what you’ve posted here will help Fisher and Schuette just fine, thank you very much. When they win the argument that it’s all a problem of opportunity, at every opportunity tier a black candidate who could otherwise participate in society will lose to a white or asian, just as they have with Google, Facebook, Apple, and thousands of other companies too careless in hiring to pay attention to what happens when they don’t effect race-alone preferences at the front end. Bastards. Talk among your ignorant and noneducable self-righteous, self-reassuring selves. ---

In an ideal world, where your conception of race is fully accepted, what do you envision happening with government and society and such? ---

It boggles the mind, because of course in history, whenever America mostly believed that black people were less intelligent, black people suffered greatly. ---

I offered my suggestion in a previous [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=601559) where we “discussed” the idea that black people have genes that make them criminals. I pointed out that the proponents of this theory were saying that black people were genetically inclined to commit violent street crimes. I also noted that most corporate crimes are committed by white people so presumably we have the genes for those crimes. The solution is to swap environments. Black people should take over the business world because they lack the genes for corporate crimes. Meanwhile white people should be moved into the inner cities because we lack the genes for street crimes. The result would be a drop in crime in both the boardrooms and the inner cities. So it’s a win/win.
