# Are you an Ernie or a Bert?

I think I’ll have to say that I’m an Ernie with Bert tendancies. I’m way to mellow and fun-loving to be the other way around, but when it comes to getting work done, I do it with vigour, a lot of stress, and sometimes at risk to my own health (see “this past weekend”). But I also procrastinate like there’s no tomorrow (when I’ll do it), and as far as stuff that doesn’t really “have” to be done, well…it doesn’t always get done. 😃

I’m pretty much Ernie except when it comes to responsibilities and not having a care in the world.

I’m a natural-born Ernie with a latent Bertness which can be triggered, just like Bruce Banner and his hulkness, by the vicissitudes of life. Like discovering the other morning that someone had kindly smashed my rear windscreen (windshield) leading to a repair bill of 178 pounds (roughly 250 dollars).

I’ve loosened up and gained a few Ernie tendencies as I got older, but I am overwhelmingly Bert.
