# "Are You Being Served?" actors

What has happened to all the actors and actresses from the brit-com “Are You Being Served?”

The old guy that played Mr. Grace must be dead, and I imagine the guy that played Cap. Peacock is dead. Where is everyone else?

Frank Thornton (Capt. Peacock) is still appearing in episodes of _Last of the Summer Wine_, or at least he was as of 2001. Wendy Richard (Miss Brahms) appears in _EastEnders_. Some Google searching should lead you to info about the others.

Frank Thornton is a distinguished stage actor in London, and apparently quite an excellent singer.

Trevor Bannister and John Inman appeared a couple of years ago for AYBS marathons at WGBH-TV. Trevor looks much older but is still handsome, nearly leonine; John looks frighteningly the same and is still capable of tap dancing merrily away.

I know Wendy Richards had a major part on the big brit soap opera Eastenders until recently.

AFAIK, Wendy Richards is recovering from treatment for cancer
