Neither choice is a perfect fit for me. I was circumcised as newborn, but am in the process of reversing it. ---

I’m circumcised. Should I have any sons, they’ll be circumcised. The Lord has demanded we slice our weenies as a sign of the Covenant. ---

I am, but for my son (now 5) we decided to forgo it. Didn’t really see the point. If he has trouble getting BJ’s later in life he can go get it snipped himself. ---

Shouldn’t be a problem. My current gf is in her early 20s. I possess the first cut member to which she has been witness. By the time your boy grows to be a man, the state of his staff will probably be _de rigueur_. ---

Not just once, but twice! First time was shortly after I was born (in the 1960s, when it was standard). The second time was a ceremonial circumcision as part of my conversion to Judaism; a prick (pun unintended) with a very tiny needle; enough to draw a little bit of blood, but not enough to really hurt. ---

I am, my 11 y/o son is not. Didn’t see the point (heh) and it seemed like an unnecessary surgery. To my knowledge he has never gotten a BJ. ---

Mine’s still got all the bits it’s supposed to have, and I’d never let a son of mine get the (imo barbaric) procedure unless he was old enough and wanted it (not quite sure why that’d ever come up, though). My (American) girlfriend told me that her friends and her searched on the internet for what an uncut member looked like when they were inquisitive teenagers, but she hadn’t seen one in, er, person until my British ‘willy’. tmi-ish: She says “it’s more fun to play with”, but she might feel duty bound to say that. ---

That was just one of the many reasons why we have disabled images on the SDMB. The image wasn’t sexual, even though it involved a naked penis, but it was Traumatizing, even to someone who doesn’t even own a penis. (Though I do have permission to operate one on a regular basis.) The TugAhoy pic wasn’t as bad as goatse, but it was quite bad enough. And nowadays it would qualify for our two click rule. ---
