For reasons I don’t fully understand, I’m famous in Korea. I’m not Korean, and spend limited time there, but I’m constantly referred to as “very famous.” I’m open to the possibility that this has something to do with language differences, and in Korean the meaning is closer to “infamous”, “notorious”, or “guy I don’t want around my sister.” ---

My blog got linked by a bunch of prominent right-wing blogs back in February, and those links still cause me to get traffic from right-wingers (and some conservatives) who come in and contact me about something I wrote about Michael Crook and his fake web site. I don’t know if that’s fame, exactly, but it sure drove up traffic. ---

I used to be pretty well-known in certain anime/cosplay circles. If you’ve ever read ‘MegaTokyo’ my picture was on their website once (don’t read it myself though ^^;; ) and I was friends or acquanted with all the ‘big dogs.’ I’ve pretty much dropped out, although last weekend someone recognized me and said they were a huge fan which was a bit unnerving, since I never actually **did** anything but be a bitch and hang out with the actually famous people. ---
