Mountain lions. I used to live in a place where they were frequently seen. It was scary to go out at dawn or dusk. Sometimes I’d get a feeling of being watched. Then one day, I was looking out an upstairs bathroom window, and actually saw a mountain lion drinking out of my pool. I highly recommend the book, “A Beast in the Garden”.
