When Fucking Asshole Mike Pence says, ’ when we lived in a more respectful time’, he means a time just before integration took hold, when wealthy white men were treated like demi-gods by people who didn’t want to be beaten to death for not doing so. That’s the kind of respect he wants - the kind he didn’t fucking earn. I hope they pin down whatever skeletons are tucked in his closet, surrounded by crusty socks, wads of sticky tissues and soggy, half-destroyed paper towel tubes. ---
