I hate my name. I wanted something real generic that said nothing about me. But now I hate it because it’s too generic and says nothing about me. ---

It’s fun when I can adopt a Bullwinkle persona for a post, but I sometimes wonder if some folks have a bit of trouble taking me seriously in a serious thread. I settled on this particular form of the Sacred Name because I figured (correctly) that there was already a **Bullwinkle** here. I think I sensed at the time that the initials **BJ** would occasionally lead to salicious comment, and it has. Oh, well. Just gives me a chance to crack jokes like “Generous Canadian beer drinkers enjoy giving Moosehead”. A couple of weeks back there was a thread in GQ started by **DefyingGravity**. During the discussion her husband joined in, registering under the name **ImGravity**. Wonderful! ---

Not really. Everything I could think of was taken and I didn’t wanna just type a random: **lkjkng148** sort of name.Im a fan of the movie but not _that_ big a fan. I fall into the “too lazy to bother with it” camp. And besides to me it’s not that big of a deal. Although watching me with my [little friend](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFLN48eA6lI) you’d prolly think it suits me. :eek: ---

No, I don’t particularly like it anymore - this was what I was using in general online at the time I signed up, but most places I’ve moved to something different. But since the other one I’m using I’ve very specifically allowed to become connected to my real name for professional reasons, it actually still makes sense to me to keep this one disconnected. Not that I hide my real name for any reason other than that it’s very unique, but I’m not sure that with my next job search I’d want the Dope to come up. If I could come up with a name that I liked more than this one (and that wasn’t the other one I use), I’d change. But I haven’t yet, so there’s no real reason to. ---
