Are you large? Are you multitudinous?

I used to shop at the Science Fiction and Mystery bookshop in Denver. I was told I was the only person who bought books from both sides of the store at the same time.

I quilt, and knit, and cook, and bake…but I also like scientific things and power tools and computers.

I go to church and sing in the choir and sit on the Hospitality and the Worship committees…but I also listen to rock music, stay up late, am divorced, drink more than I should and have a very healthy interest in sex outside the realm of marriage.

I like folk music and classical and rock and (some) country western and (some) techo-stuff.

I adore vegetables, and meat, and Peeps.

Politically I am all over the place…conservative, pro-choice, pro-government, pro-gay marriage…

I once was heading out the door to attend a sci-fi convention in a pink-and-white floral shirtdress and pantyhose. Only my ride having a car accident deterred me from being very oddly viewed, indeed.

I like Firefly, and Star Trek, and Desperate Housewives and TMZ and What Not To Wear and Dirty Jobs and all the quilting shows and nature programming on PBS.

I am a total slob, and I love Martha Stewart.

I think this qualifies as eclectic, no?

This qualifies as eclectic, yes.
Exactly what I was fishing for, BTW.

“You are all individuals.”

I write random e-mails to my colleges involving various aspects of quantum mechanics, distilled malt beverages, the poetry of William Blake, the films of Sam Peckinpah, the novels of Joseph Heller, explosive hydrodynamics, public key crytography, and why Oregon and Florida are not near each other, much to their combined entertainment and befuddlement. I either need to displace Neal Stephenson off of his throne or consign myself to corporate purgatory and stop distrupting the natural order of things. I guess.

Hey - can I get on your mailing list, please?

Let’s see… my musical taste includes punk rock, zydeco, and folk music (mainly Irish).

My book collection includes boring tomes on medieval history, thrillers, mysteries, and Tom Robbins novels.

I’m at home in an art museum, a dive bar, a tea shop, a punk rock show, or an antiques store.

I like cooking and working on cars.

I think this qualifies too, no?

I’m not.
