Hey, that’s cute, better than being scared of us and scattering your border with pillboxes or something. Americans think there’s something wrong if half the world ISN’T laughing at us. OTOH, there’s not a lot of Canadian jokes that I’ve heard recently. It’s like laughing at a little old nun in the corner who’s given her life to charity and never raised her voice or hurt a soul. It’s just not–sporting somehow. 😉 ---

The good old days, before World War 2, when America was not involved in all of the world’s bullshit. The United States needs to close down its overseas military bases, pull its troops back in and let the rest of the world go fuck itself. Why in the fuck are US soldiers in South Korea, Germany and a host of other countries which don’t want or need its troops? Let the rest of the world deal with its problems while American troops and tax dollars are used in the United States. The next time a dictatorship decides to start overrunning countries and people are asking the United States for help, the answer can simply be, “Sorry, we tried that once and it was too much hassle. Deal with it yourselves.”. In fact, next time Bosnia turns into a bloodbath or Somalia slides into chaos, let Canadian, German, Russian or French soldiers deal with it. Why should United States soldiers be sent to warzones which have no strategic interest for the United States only to be killed and dragged through the streets? Those foreign aid dollars can be used very nicely to help American homeless people and solve American problems. What’s that Turkey? You want 26 Billion dollars to help us in a war? Well, truth be told, we really don’t need allies like that so nevermind. The United States does not need allies or “friends” so a simple isolationist foreign policy will do nicely. India and Pakistan can turn each other into radioactive wastelands. China can invade Taiwan and threaten Japan. Europe can do whatever it wants which will probably involve WWIII since it is long overdue for Europe to start a world war. The United States will watch it all on TV and rest easy knowing that not one US soldier or dollar of aid is involved in any of it. Maybe some administration will be smart enough to invest in developing a hydrogen based economy and then the Middle East will also become a non-factor.
