# Are you ready for the Obama show?

I think Obama, except ocasionally when he’s campaigning, has the charisma of a damp rag. Most of the time he’s boring and scolding and lecture-y. Not stupid, not evil, but…dull. He’s right up there with Mondale or Dole for negative-charisma much of the time when he’s speechifyin’. Except those rare times when he’s awesome. (When he’s actually “on”, he’s Churchill/JFK/Reagan good at giving speeches–ignore the content, just the delivery)

If he’s doing an Oprah/Jerry Springer/Talk Show thing, I might watch an episode to point and laugh but I’d never actually watch it. If he’s producing/directing something, I’d see if I was interested and how preachy (if at all) it was.

Even though “The Obama Show” might not be totally accurate, his name will still be in the credits. Disney had his name all over things but he rarely appeared in them.  
But then who knows? Maybe he will have some sort of talk show like thing like Oprah had.
