It’s part of it - the most conspicuous part (which we call “The Plough” over here). It’s more or less the hindquarters of the Bear, including an unreasonably long tail for an ursinoid.

Similarly the “Summer Triangle” is three bright stars from different constellations - Alpha Lyrae, Alpha Aquilae and Alpha Cygni.

In other words, Vega, Altair, and Deneb.

This is how I rationalize to myself that I am not a complete retard by only saying 4.

The first night I watched this show, I thought WORST THEME SONG EVER.

Each time I’ve heard it, the theme to Meatballs immediately became stuck in my head.

Anyway…three days, two misses. I brainfarted and answered that REM stood for Random Eye Movement, and if you ever need to stump me, just ask me a periodic table question.

The states bordering the Pacific one almost got me. I confidently answered “Easy, just remember the west coast COW: California, Oregon and Washington. Simple…three.

I also thought “Big Dipper” was a nickname for Ursa Major, but I did know at the answer at least.

This is pretty much me as well but the arctic ocean really only borders the West and North coastlines with the Pacific Ocean bordering the south. The little sliver that extends down into the North West of BC is the most obvious part that is bordered by the Pacific. It honestly took me about a minute to work this all out in my head, so on TV, I might have looked pretty stupid myself.

According to Wikipedia, the Kodiak bear is a subspecies of brown bear, rather than a separate species. (Although, I suppose that opens up the question of whether the brown bear would be a correct answer.)

It also means it’s a very, very bad question for a show allegedly about easy questions. I’ve heard both “Polar” and “Kodiak” claimed to be the biggest bear my entire life. It’s very ambiguous.
