We spend inordinate amounts of time talking about this whole left-right thing, even though for 90% of the content in the SDMB, it just flat out doesn’t matter. Not to mention that there are tons of issues, even in GD, that just don’t have the standard left-right breakdown. The whole issue is overblown, in my opinion. ---

I was thinking my own posts ran to “no signal, all noise” until the last few posts but compared with the parfait and German Shepherd crowd I’m feeling better about myself. ---

But to argue that moderators shouldn’t participate as members is asinine. And to argue, as the OP did, that moderators are somehow responsible for ensuring political balance in each and every debate is the height of idiocy. ---
