I am not ugly, at least I don’t think I am. I’m far from beautiful, though. I think I am funny looking, and the compliment I get most often is ‘pretty’. A bit on the chubby side, too. I dunno. Ya’ll tell me. To top it all off, I have adult acne, although recently, due to my new regimen (I like to think), my skin has been clearing up. As ugly as I think I am, others tend to disagree. The guys I watched pro-wrestling with in college said I was “cute as a button”, and I have been described as a “black Nikki Taylor”. I guess, if I view it realistically, I usually look about average, but I can clean up _real_ nice. ---

I don’t think I’m that pretty. I think I have a big head and nose, and I still have some acne (though its better than when I was a teen). I think my upper arms are kinda saggy. I don’t think I’m ugly anymore, but I did until I was 19 or 20. I think now that I’m kinda pretty to people that are into the tall geeky girl thing. 🙂 It’s really sad (in a lot of ways) that to this day, almost ten years after graduating high school, I still am rather surprised/ dismissive when someone says I’m pretty. I mean, my self-esteem is much better, but there’s still that little tinge of disbelief at a compliment. I was told on an almost daily basis that I was horrendously ugly in high school, and it still lingers a bit. \ God, I fucking hate high school. Enough beautiful people, I thought this was an ugly thread? Three women die together in an accident and go to heaven. When they get there, St. Peter says, “We only have one rule here in heaven…don’t step on the ducks.” So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally steps on one. Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw. St. Peter chains them together and says “Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to this ugly man!” The next day, the second woman steps accidentally on a duck, and along comes St. Peter, who doesn’t miss a thing, and with him is another extremely ugly man. He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman. The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man, is very, VERY careful where she steps. She manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter comes up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on. Very tall, long eyelashes, muscular, and thin. St. Peter chains them together without saying a word. The woman remarks, “I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?” The guy says, “I don’t know about you, but I stepped on a duck!” ---

Actually, yes, I’m both fat and uninspiring to look at … but I never think it unless I see a mirror. \*\we hates the mirrors, we does!\ \* I’m kind of like the anti-anorexic, always convinced I’m svelte until [proven otherwise](http://members.aardvark.net.au/dloc/images/photos/Daria_Mar03_1.jpg). 😉 I have this [goofy grin](http://members.aardvark.net.au/dloc/images/photos/Daria_Shaun_Xmas03.jpg) that makes it look like I’m storing nuts in my cheeks, but my husband thinks it’s cute. He refers to it as me ‘channeling the chipmunk’. That photo also shows my husband on the right. Yep. I’m ugly. A bodytype that could pass for Shrek, but instead of green skin it’s more of a spotchy white/red, but with mucxh more hair, and a face, that acording to reports, isn’t as cute as Shrek’s but more like a dead fish ---

I see no ugliness in any of you! You are sillies if you disagree. Silly geese. I’m average, but I can be cute if pics are flattering. Usually pictures are either unfairly flattering or reeeeally unflattering. Very rarely do I find a picture of me where I look like myself! Here I am with some of my favourite video game heroes.
