My mother passed away when I was 18. My father, who was absentee for my entire life, died when I was about 26. ---

My mother died eight years ago. My dad is alive and well. ---

I’m 28 - Mom in early sixties, Dad in late fifties, both alive and kicking. I expect both of them are good for at least another couple decades. 🙂 ---

I’m 44 and both of my parents are still alive and in their mid to late 70s. In fact, it was just a little over a year ago when my mother lost her father. Gramps was about 6 weeks past his 100th when he passed on. ---

I’m 36. Dad passed away about 2 1/2 years ago at 59, complications of diabetes. I’m fairly sure that if he had taken better care of himself he’d still be here. Mom is 62, looks 10 years younger and is still going strong. ---

My father died in 1970, when I was in 4th grade. My Mom remarried a few years later; she and my stepfather are still alive and well. ---

I’m 32. Dad is 60. Mom is 59. Stepmom just turned 48. Mom’s BF is 60. Original stepmom is 53. My old stepdad is 61. ---

I’m 30. My mom died last December of lung cancer. She was two days shy of her 65th birthday. My father is still alive, but has had Parkinson’s Disease for about 31 years (though they think now it might be Multiple System Atrophy) and is in a nursing home with a 24-hour-a-day aid. ---

Dad died in 2006, aged 64. My mother, currently 64 is still with us. ---

I’m 52, both of my parents are alive and VERY healthy, healthier than I am actually. I hope they live for good long time yet. The average on my dad’s side is 90s. My mom’s parents and other relatives seem to have a mid 80s average, but she’s going strong, so I’m hoping 90s for her too. ---

You didn’t have an option for “Last time I checked”! Yes, at time of writing, both 69 and alive, although my father’s 4-bottles-of-wine-per-night lifestyle isn’t the healthiest. ---

My father passed away at age 60 when I was 15. I lost my mom 14 years ago. She was 68. I was with both of them when they died. Bri2k ---

I’m 46. My father died when I was nearly 18; he was in his mid-60s. My mother is 82, still living independently, and will be for a few more years yet, I expect. ---

I’m 57. Dad died at 52 when I was 16 from coronary artery disease. My brother and I have the same problem. Mom died in 1979. ---

I’m 65. Both parents passed away, my father at 81 and my mother at 92. I’ll be lucky if I make it to 66 (in 2 weks). ---
