Area 51: Is It More Secret Than Other Secrets?

A few years ago, I read a story where locals reported that activity around Area 51 had dropped to almost nothing. They speculated that the Air Force had finally shut down the “secret base” and moved the spy planes or stealth toilets or whatever they had there to some other base.

Probably about a few months after the spot spy sat came online and offered pictures to the masses. Most of it was supposedly underground , so only a few buildings would be seen , with an aircraft carrier style elavator to bring up the megafortresses and other associated cool airplanes

My guess for the new location is probably alaska, probably the only state left in the union ,that has the needed qualitys for the type of base.

Pshaw! Area 51 is old hat. It’s the public relations division of all secrets areas.

It’s Area 127 that’s the really secret one.

Nah, as Bugs Bunny knows, the real stuff is all at Area 52.

I’ve just got to ask, because I’ve heard this a couple times, including on some fairly reputable news sites (though I can’t find it on any of them now, of course. )

Any corroboration to the report that the U.S. president (whoever he is at the time) continually re-issues an executive order barring the press from the area 51 premises?? (Because, supposedly, such an order can only be effective for one full year, so needs to be repeated annually??)
