I would have to agree with a lot of the previous posters: while some would opine that _I_ might be pretty damned interesting due to my education and experiences, I would turn that around and tell them that I have friends that are just as experienced. Take the old guy across the street who flew a B-25 in WWII. Take my friend down the road who worked for the Discovery Channel, and who I now think works for [Google.Com](http://Google.Com). Yeah, we’ve all got a path to walk down. It’s just how you choose your route that determines a part of who we are. Tripler . . . and sometimes how hard and fast we take those paces, too! 😃 ---

I’m one of those people who can happily endure waits at the doctor’s office or long plane flights without reading material. I just don’t think I’m the most interesting person I know. Maybe I’m particularly blessed in the circle of friends and acquaintances I have. ---

I’m perfectly capable of entertaining myself. After all, one’s mind must be pretty shallow if once can’t retreat into it every once in a while. But no matter how wondrous my mind is, it’s still \*my \* mind. There’s nothing in there to surprise me, or shake me up, and I’m not sufficiently narcissistic to enjoy spending too much time in an echo chamber. ---

Talk about a self-fulfilling topic! Of course I find the things that I am interested in are intersting to me…and I spend all of my time with me! All of my hobbys are fascinating, and the movies that I watch are those that…I would choose! But seriously, I am one of a number of interesting people, and I hang out with interesting folks, and they are intelligent (why would I hang out with them otherwise?). I guess that I need to find people that I think are stupid and boring and shallow. Sorry if I’ve been really snarky. ---
