Screw **Argent Towers** , **Cesario** , and the rest. By letting the APPEARANCE remain that the SDMB harbors pedophiles, any tolerance of them damages the board and those of us who post here. Maybe you are young and do not realize the effectiveness of “guilt by association.” I am not so naive. ---

What, two mods have been in this thread and no one fixed my url tags?! For shame. Well, my irritation has been soothed. I just wanted AT to think about the possible consequences of his actions. And I just would like to point out that I was a voracious reader as a child and I read a lot of gross stuff. If I had found Hogg, I probably would have read it and I wouldn’t have stopped because I found it distasteful. I don’t think 13 year olds have the self control we’d like to think they do. ---

Regarding Curtis’ ‘true’ identity - a while back he posted a newspaper article which he said was about him, which included a photo and quite a bit of detail. The thread was disappeared quick-smart for obvious reasons, but nothing he’s ever posted has contradicted the details in that article. The mods would still have access to that thread (and the article) and might want to comment on whether they think he’s for real or not. ---

People need to settle down. With the lynch mob mentality that developed after the **Cesario** debacle, people seem to be lying in wait for the next person to demonize. “Hogg” is a fictional novel that I first heard about here. I Wiki’d it and was interested to learn about the author and genre of fiction. I am glad that **Argent Towers** shared his opinion of it with us. BTW, I have learned about other things just as shocking here on the SDMB. To demonize **AT** for any mention of this fictional novel strikes me a censorship, which I do not abide. **Argent Towers** is a long-time poster who contributes intelligent and thoughtful content. He maybe used poor judgment in this instance but he did not deserve the pile-on. 99.99% of the content he shares is interesting and adds to the SDMB in a positive way. Oh, and he apologized for his mistake. Please, give it a rest! I would hate to have to see one of my favorite posters leave because of a handful of self-righteous censor-crazy uptight party poopers. **Argent Towers** , I support you fully and hope you will stay. I will miss a SDMB without discussions of armor! ---

I agree with you. I would also be observant in just the way you describe. However, assuming that \*\*CLM \*\*is who he claims to be, I’ve not seen any indication that his Dad or Mom posts here. ---
