I think only one person mentioned possible “grooming.” The suggestion that this thread has been a “lynch mob” or a pile up of people accusing AT of being a pedophile is a false one, plain and simple. One person made an elliptical suggestion that nobody else agreed with. That’s it. Those rushing to decry the mob mentality are either not reading or not comprehending the thread. Their own offenderati indignation is far more ridiculous and immature than the fictional thread they’re purporting to denounce. ---

Don’t forget that that same fictional lynch mob was rallying for censorship on the boards. :rolleyes: I think the best suggestion is for people to _actually_ read the thread and respond to individual poster’s concerns without trying to coast by on saying “Everyone was saying \” or “that whole big, angry mob of party poopers was saying \.” ---

They are the original offenderati that pretend the counter-offenderati are saying stuff that they aren’t saying. Haa! As for me, I am saying that yes indeed there was a pile on. If you want to look at the posts I collected and tell me that if all those posts had been directed at you on the very first page… If you can tell me that you would not feel piled on after getting that response on the very first page, then I will say you are tougher than me, and I like to think I’m pretty tough when it comes to letting cliquee internet posters bounce off. It is crazy to just keep repeating that there was no pile on, over and over. I have read the thread (under fucking duress) and my HO is that there was indeed a pile on. Let’s agree to disagree. ---

AT got piled a little for doing something _stupid_. he was not accused of being a pedophile or of “grooming” or any of this other bullshit. There were also no cries for censorship of the board. After AT himself admitted he did a stupid thing, people laid off him pretty much immediately. It’s only the offenderatti, “think of the fee speech” morons who kept on and on with attacking a thread and a mob mentaility that never existed in reality. ---
