If this has to do with the comics, I thought that ship sailed about 25 years ago. If it has to do with the upcoming Spider-Man 2 movie, then your thread title is a spoiler and you’ve been here more than long enough to know better. ---

Speaking of which, does Gwen’s dad being killed in Ultimate Spider-man mean that she’s off the hook? It seems like her death wont mean much since it’s pretty much preordained. ---

They couldn’t put Gwen Stacy in _Spider-Man 2_; they already ripped off her death scene\* with Mary Jane Watson in the first movie. \*Granted, she lived in the movie, but the setup is otherwise identical. ---
