Well, that was a nice Dopefest! Hey, I had a great time! Arizona Dopers sure are nice. (Missouri ones are just plain _mean_. ;)) A big hearty thanks to **GIGObuster** for arranging this, and for the nice gift he brought. He also did the dirty deed of dividing the dinero; thanks to him, the waitress got paid and even took our picture. Uh-huh, sure…If you’re anything to judge by Missouri Dopers are wonderful company, indeed. Indeed, many thanks to GIGObuster for arranging and for the fossils. Lizard Queen got petrified wood, and I got Fossil Coral. Mine will go on my Altar, in the West for water. I already have a nice chunk of Citrine for North. Tell me again, GIGO, how to summon elementals with a Cell Phone? Great to meet some Arizona Dopers, even if we didn’t get to mingle more. I’m impressed **Trublmakr** drove all the way up from Tucson, Safe trip back tomorrow. Thanks to **Skipmagic** for getting the photos up so soon, Kudos. And know I know how to type **umop ap!sdn** Dr. Rieux, we’ll have to meet again, cuz we really didn’t this time. Idle thoughts and Cisco were no shows, Where were you, Fellows? I’m sorry, I really planned on being there but I have a bad habit of “1 or 2 beer” happy-hours lasting all night. A cow-orker is going through some rough times and my wife and I invited him home with us after happy hour to relax and vent a little bit. I really really hope to be able to make it next time, and I hope it happens soon (before the 110+ weather hits in the next 60 days or so.) GIGOBuster is truly one of the coolest and most knowledgeable dopers and I feel like a total jackass for living in the same metro area as him and not seeing him for the last three years. Well, I just got home from Phoenix. Left my hotel at 11:30 this morning, and what should have been a lovely 1 1/2 hour drive turned into a 3 hour ordeal. Accident on 1-10 just outside Phoenix, sat there for a full hour at a dead stop! Grrr! If I’d known that would happen I would’ve just drove home last night. Also had a really bad night at the hotel- called the office four times until 2 am to complain about the partiers upstairs. Going to write the corporate office, maybe I’ll get comped something for next time. But the dinner was fabulous, and I enjoyed meeting everyone. Everyone was so very friendly. **Idle Thoughts** , I really wish you’d been there- I was looking forward to meeting you. And you, too, **Cisco**.
