Zangwill’s _Modern Electrodynamics_ features a problem that asks the student to find the lowest resonant frequency of the Ark of the Covenant, along with the width of said resonance peak. It’s a fun problem. ---

It’s a fun problem. Wouldn’t you need some inductance to get a resonant circuit? Wait, didn’t Moses carry around a staff with a copper snake wound around it? Maybe that could fit in? (All calculations must, of course, use the biblical value of pi - I think it is somewhere in Kings’ or Chronicles!) 🙂 ---
