He’s had eight warnings since 2009.

Most recent one [was here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=19247642&postcount=77), where he [admits he broke the rules on purpose.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=19247663&postcount=79)

After that one, [he failed to listen to mod instruction on top of it](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=19247706&postcount=82), which could have given him his 9th warning, but I instead chose to suspend.
ETA: [Actually, I have decided to give him a warning for ignoring mod instructions after all.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=19248055&postcount=85)
