Good, though not great episode. They’ve dumbed down the open a bit so people can catch on; it might help with the ratings if people get a recap. Loved the Rumsfeld and “never say anything bad about Andy Griffith” gags. ---

I’ve had better AD. I feel like they skipped an episode so that’s why they put in the recap. “She is so out of his league.” Glad we’ll be seeing more of Ms. Theron. She wasn’t bad at all. ---

I loved the continuity - there was Michael saying “More touching” and what, 4 or 5 different chicken dances? Oh, and “Mama horny, Michael.” Gross but hilarious. And of course GOB trying to explain his feelings. “It’s like my heart is hard” and “My heart is going to burst through my shirt.” So, essentially, GOB sees love as a heart-boner. That rules. I love the idea of George Sr. being under house arrest. The fact that he and Lucille used Buster’s fake hand for something dirty is a little revolting, though. ---

I thought it was an A+. Not dumbed down, but it did have a “previously on AD”. I almost had Chicken Dance overload (though Lindsay is still the best). Tobias’ hair plugs made me laugh out loud (especially at the barber shop). And the Scott Baio preview looks very promising (Bob Loblaw. Hee!) My favorite exchange (not verbatim): Lindsay: You haven’t had a serious relationship since your wife, and towards the end you two were barely talking. Michael: Yeah, alot of that was the coma. Lindsay: I’ve heard your side of the story. ---

Oh, I forgot the best line of the whole episode: Michael tells George Sr. “You’re a regular Brad Garrett.” which is extra-funny because Jeffery Tambor just lost the best supporting actor Emmy to Brad Garrett. It was a travesty of justice, but it made for a great joke. ---

It left me with something to be desired…though I was in the kitchen listening for alot of the show, so I probably missed alot of it. ---

Even at it’s worst (not that I though this was the worst episode, not by far), AD’s still better than all the other crap that’s on (and I was pleasantly surprised by Kitchen Confidential, which got much, much better). Best bits: “More touching!” Tobias’s hair plugs had me rolling on the floor. But for once, I wasn’t laughing (okay, maybe a little). Mostly, I was shuddering. I don’t care what most of the TWoPpers say- I like jokes at the expense of the British. ---

Actually, it wasn’t **completely** recap. It was a recap of the ending situation from last week, but it had a lot of new lines – things that were not actually shown in last week’s. I thought it was kind of a reverse of what they usually do (“Next week on…” then show new bits that won’t appear in next week’s). This time they said “last week on…” and while recapping the situation, showed new bits that didn’t actually appear last week. Not a bad twist, although I will miss the “Next week on” gags, if they are losing those. ---

Good episode, though not great. Some good lines, but I was sad that they didn’t do more with George Michael and Maeby. Though the “Hi Dad” with GOB hitting the deck was hilarious. “I’m hiding _from_ a child. There is a difference”. LOL! Though the buy-curious line was the best thing of the night! Wee Britain was just… strange. It was like they were reaching on how to introduce Theron. Though I wonder where the Brit overlords of George Sr leads. Though I did like the roads changing. ---

I thought it was just too weird. It’s never a total loss with AD, as there were a number of great bits, but too much silly and weird, not quite enough skewed/clever. The “previously on” thing was pretty funny - loved Michael’s line about seeing the lake - but I think it’s a bad sign that they had to recap the plot for new viewers, took a fair amount of time to do it, and I don’t know if it would have helped a new viewer at all. That made me kind of pessimistic about the show’s future, to be honest. Putting that aside, it’s a decent episode. I’m optimistic about Bob Loblaw and more of Charlize Theron. And what was up with her hat? ---

Yeah…I didn’t like this episode. Some of it was funny, but it was just off. Like Marley23 said, it was too weird. Mostly it was Wee Britain that bugged me, not because I don’t like jokes about the British ( 😉 ), but because it was too contrived. And not funny. Did anyone else get the impression that Rita wasn’t a teacher, she was actually _in_ the class? It would explain the clothes and her father’s comment. Am I crazy? ---

Uggh, they try and do to much in a 30 minute show. It’s all trying to be so clever and I was just rolling my eyes at the end. Some funny bits but I really disliked that one. ---
