Maybe Maeby…er, perhaps Maeby could be producing a film adaptation of _As You Like It_, and drawing from her experience with the Bluth family to help cast the roles and doctor the script. Plus, maybe she can bring in Carl Weathers by stopping production of the comeback film _Action Jackson VI: Back In Action_. It’ll never happen, of course, but one can dream. Stranger ---

I wish, similar to firefly, if they determine that there’s enough interest to make a profitable movie, they’d try giving it another chance as a series. 2 hours of arrested development certainly beats none, though. ---

I saw an interview with Jason Bateman and Michael Cera for JUNO (in which they both star but have no scenes together) and he said there was talk but the problem was whether or not they could afford Michael. I thought he was joking, but glad to know he’s not. (Has anybody noticed that Michael Cera is exactly the same in interviews as he is when playing George Michael? It’s eerie.) _Ugly Betty_ and _30 Rock_ help, but I _need_ a Lucile Bluth a fix. I wonder if it will take place after the series or overwrite the last episode. In other words, Are Michael and Lindsay still no longer biologically siblings, did George Michael and Michael escape the family, and is Lucile in jail? ---

If they’d made it a year or two ago, I would have been ready with an appopriate quote from the show, but right now I can’t think of anything other than Tobias’ “Huzzah!” Um… “Mission Accomplished?” Not making this movie would be a “huge mistake?” I hope this is real and not just an “illusion?” ---

Even in the Super Bowl last night, when I was frothing at the mouth and screaming at the TV with 30 seconds to go, I still couldn’t keep a straight face when they started playing it. ---

AD was probably my favourite tv show ever. But it never found a large audience, even though it had three seasons and decent promotion from the network. It is difficult to see how it would make a profitable movie. ---

I don’t know much about these things, but maybe it could make money as a straight-to-DVD production. It’s worked for other shows. ---
