You’re forgetting the other part of people getting rich, being good at getting other people’s money. In that spirit have you considered any whining fees?
It’s true this argument exists. It’s also very stupid and the people who make are covering for gross corruption and the long-term decline of government.
Well I think it’s an example of the conflict of a large interest inherent in our political system. Each congress person has a duty to represent the the interests of their state, while the entire congress body has a duty to represent the interests of the country which all the members share.
If a state can get a head by screwing the rest of the country, well that’s a conflict of interest.
I thought the definition of “pork” was “tax dollars that go to someone else’s district or state”.
Actually I think it is you who are confusing the ideas of “organic” and “free range” with “traditional”. Organic is the idea that no unnatural chemicals are used in the preservation and packaging of the food and Free Range is the idea that no confining pens are used to permenantly house the animals though they can still return to stables or coops to escape predators at night and still be considered free range. The use of modern equipment is still acceptable in both so long as it doesn’t interfere with the principle of organic or free range.
