Doom, gloom, big badaboom.
Okay, you all read about that. Someone creating fake news with deepfakes photos.
A rich bad actor (like a international gang, megacorp or foreign government) actually getting hands on technology for their own gains. In modern world, hyper information focused it is disastrous, right?

I already saw news around near me - someone already was scammed out a lot of cash because scambag trained AI to fake victim’s relative’s voice and called them through changed voice asking for help to get out of car accident pinch fast. I mean, I can’t blame grey-haired mom who was on her toes listening to ‘fake’ son who just ‘crashed into something’ and is about to get into jail straight into hospital, if she doesn’t swiftly lend him some $10000 or something like that.
It is already happening. First, it will be raw and faulty, but then they will become more and more cunning. The AI learns how to fake evidence, and the problem is kinda self-perpetuating.
No, AI itself will not make Terminator happen. But nasty humans totally will make some dystopia for sure.
