# As a kid , Were you told a bedtime story?

Miss Piggle Wiggle when I was younger, after I grew out of the baby books. Adventure stories like The Call of the Wild when I was a little older.

I don’t remember anyone telling me bedtime stories, reading to me or tucking me in for that matter. I did have a cousin slightly older than me in Colombia. I think we were 11 years old at the time. We had sleepovers often and we did tell each other made up stories.

Many somewhat vague but fond recollections of bed time stories from a loving mother. I’m 64 now and she died just this summer…age 98.

Never in my life was I read a bedtime story.  
I read bedtime stories to my kids for about 4 years. (They were close in age.)
