# As a US citizen I would vote "anti-colonial" over a colonialist any day

Anti-colonialism in America is pretty much confined to academia. Anti-colonialists such as the late Edward Said or Roberto Unger were pretty influential academics. I am not convinced Obama is an anti-colonialist but if he were it would be a bad thing.
