People, people, you forget. The Puritans didn’t come to this country for religious freedom. They had that freedom in Amsterdam but it was corrupting them. They came to the New World to establish a society where their religion was the only allowed religion! If Pat Robertson hangs a portrait of Ben Franklin in his Founder’s Inn then Old Ben’s autobiography was wrong, he was a Christian. Just because there are two abortion doctor killers on the FBI’s Most Wanted List does not mean that there are such things as Christian Terrorist. Everyone knows that only non-Christians can become terrorists. Besides, abortion doctor killers have the courage of their convictions to aid them in their flight from justice. Members of Hamas are cowards and commit suicide to escape final judgement. ---

Is his faith so weak that he’s likely to capitulate simply by being in the prescence of someone who holds a differing view? If so, he needs to reevaluate his world view. Self proclaimed Christians who treat their faith and their God as property give the church a bad name. Sadly, this form of religion is very, very popular. How appealing to have all the answers, and be able to dismiss anything that displeases you by calling it heretical. Sorry, I just had to get that all off my chest. I’ll shut up now. ---
