# As long as we're at it, why not make daylight savings...

If you took the time to read the above cited thread on this topic, you would have seen that someone else has already raised this point, and, that it has been debunked.

Hate to break this to you, but, people have been saying ‘saving **s** ’ so often, that I’ve got a usage cite and three dictionaries that says the ‘s’ is OK. Besides, _daylight savings_ edged out _daylight saving_ in a Google fight.
