# As soon as smiled my donkey

Today’s Friday and as usual my e-mail box at work is filling up with the jokes that fly around like the wicked witch’s monkeys.
One of them I just had to share with y’all - not because of the joke (not terribly funny, really) but because of one guy’s response. It was merely
一笑了之 我 驴子
Which is weird, but the responder is not Chinese.
So I whip out my trusty [Google decoder ring](http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en) and discover the above loosely translates to
“As soon as smiled my donkey.”
Huh? sez I. It took a full minute or so for the light to go on, “Ohhhh! Laughing my ass off!”
Inspired by that, I translated the phrase “Rolling on the floor, laughing my ass off” into the following languages, then translated them back to english. So here is some Google-language-round-trip fun:
**German**
Auf dem Fußboden rollen, meinen Esel weg lachend.
On the floor, mean donkeys roll away laughing.
**Spanish**
Rodando en el piso, riendo mi asno apagado.
Rolling in the floor, laughing my dull ass.
**French**
Roulant sur le plancher, riant mon âne au loin.
Rolling on the floor, laughing my ass with far.
**Italian**
Rotolando sul pavimento, ridente il mio asino fuori.
Rolling on the pavement, laughing my ass outside.
**Portuguese**
Rolando no assoalho, rindo meu burro fora.
Rolling in the wooden floor, laughing my donkey it are.
**Japanese**
私のろばを笑わせる床で転がる
Me it is slow, it rolls in the floor which can be amused.
**Korean**
나의 당나귀를 떨어져 실소하는 지면에 구른
My donkey it fell and laughs in the ground which it rolled
**Chinese**
滚动在这个地板, 笑我的驴子
Rolls in this floor, laughs at me the donkey

Thanks Czarcasm - I had intended to put this in MPSIMS. Loose clicks, link slips
