My wife has found out about companies which will smoosh you loved one’s ashes into a diamond. She keeps threatening to do that with me when I die. I think it is lame and macabre. She points out it is no more macabre than keeping the ashes in an urn on the mantle. What’s the straight dope on the subject? My only hope is to outlive her I guess I better cut out the whiskey and get some more exorcise. ---

Actually, call us madly in love, but my fiancee and I want to have our ashes mixed and then our combined carbon made into one of these diamonds. And then perhaps shot into space… that would be cosmic! ---
