Ashton Kutcher _is_ exceptionally lucky, but not because of his (probably brief) association with Demi Moore. 1. He won the “Fresh Face of Idaho” contest (I don’t really remember if it was Idaho - it’s whatever state he’s from) which got him a modeling contract. 2. He moved to LA and went on ONE audition - for That 70’s show. Before that, all he’d done were some school plays. 3. Hi Opal! He’s a great looking guy, with moderate talent. They’re basically a dime a dozen. Face it, there’s luck at play here. ---

He seems less bright than many of the “pretty faces” I’ve seen in Hollywood. He comes off as an idiot in every talk show or interview. ---

No, Chris Klein is far luckier. He showed up for open casting call for locals as extras in “Election”, the producers loved his natural dummy bit and gave him a nice role. Then “American Pie,” etc. and now he’s Katie Holmes’ main squeeze. Sheesh. ---

I read somewhere that he was, or is, pre-med. Apparently, he has a twin brother who almost died from some kind of heart condition when they were thirteen, and that made him want to go to med school.
