# Asian women and their eyes

I’ve never asked an Asian girl to stand next to a non Asian girl to compare their eyes. I just think this would be too weird, but obviously Asian girls have different kinds of eyes or I should say “eye lids”.

What exactly is the difference? Do the lids fold differently when they open?

By the way, I love Asian women and I think their eyes are beautiful, so this is not meant to be any kind of “put down”.

Why are you only asking about women?

You’re right about the different folds in the eyelids. What you’re asking about is called the [epicanthic fold](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicanthal_fold).

The (to me, also, very sexy) thing you mention is the “epicanthic fold .” This is what gives the eyes that distinct “almod look.”
