It must be Mexican food because around here it’s mostly Mexican-Americans who make it.
Then again, the same can be said of Chinese food.
That’s really sad. I saw a documentary (Biography?) about him a few years ago. I really came to admire him.
And yeah, they said that he essentially invented the American style taco.

I love Taco Bell. We know it’s not Mexican food, it’s its own entity. Del Taco opened in El Paso and didn’t last more than a few months. We actually went to Taco Bell in memory of Mr. Bell on Monday!
Taco Bell is very similar to the food you get around the Mexican Border states. Go to New Mexico and the main difference in make-up of the burrito is superior ingredients. Taco Bell also doesn’t have access to the same rare peppers that you can get regionally.
