You cite Randi’s statement, which mentions drilling as the method for determining the location of water, as a “challenge” that you claim eligibilty for. You then suggest a method that does not involve drilling or dowsing, and claim that it is the same test. You do understand that the method for finding a wet area and a dry area must be the same, right? “Wet” and “Dry” are terms that are defined in relation to one another. Not wet things are dry, and no dry things are wet. They are inextricably linked. Randi has essentially stated that very few dry spots exist, and he can prove it by drilling. For you to offer an alternative method of proof may or may not be an interesting intellectual exercise (I’m kinda leaning towards ‘may not’,) but one thing it is **not** is a response to whatever challenge you imagine Randi extended toward whomever. If you assert that you are eligible for the same challenge, all things must be the same. Without drilling, it is a different challenge. ---
