Thanks for your – dare i say it – feedback, **TV Time**. I’m actually blessed with a reporter-friendly editor who is a back patter. I don’t want to derail the thread into it being some type of “no one appreciates me and where does one go for kudos” – again, I sincerely appreciate the sentiments provided and it helps with gaining perspective on the profession as a whole. ---

So what exactly are you covering? Local issues and news? Those can be the trickiest because there’s more possibility of earning personal enmity from your subjects. ---

I’m thinking of journalism as a possible major, right now I’m in Canadian studies and I might change that to my minor with journalism as a major. Anyone have any idea on the differences in Canadian journalism and American? ---
