If you’re not interested, or don’t remember, fine. I ask because of what my dad tells me (he was a young adult in the 60s). He would have passionate arguments with his father about civil rights (my dad was pro, grandpa was against). My grandpa was a wonderful grandfather, but he was an old Southern racist with old Southern racist views. Ironically (or not, perhaps), genetic ancestry tests of his descendants have revealed (years after his death) that he was 1/8th African (and therefore I’m 1/32nd). And I’m wondering what you and those close to you thought. Was it not an important issue for you and those close to you, or did you talk about it? If so, what did everyone think? ---
