Two lines from the same Hexagram (13 - Fellowship) in the _I Ching_; Line 3; _He hides weapons in the thicket He climbs the high hill in front of it For three years he does not rise up._ Hiding weapons in the thicket. Deep distrust of other humans and keeping weapons hidden away in your mind to deal with them if you have to. Climbing the high hill, so you can look down on others. Line 4; _He climbs up on his wall, he cannot attack Good Fortune._ This too is climbing up to look down on others, and walling oneself off from then. He cannot attack because he realizes that the problem is within, which leads to good fortune. Interestingly enough, when both lines change, the hexagram changes to 42 - Increase. So there. Hold people in contempt, keep weapons against them, look down on them from above, and wall yourself off.
